About Anabhra
and Swami Chetan Anabhra was born Leonardo Capponi and grew up in Siena Italy. Anabhra's healing studies began in Italy where he learned Lomi Lomi and Watsu (water massage). He then began a two year journey in Peru, Bolivia and Chile mostly on foot. In South America he was introduced to the shamanic medicine practices of the Quechua, Aymara and Mapuche tribes. Later he also spent time with the Huicholes tribe in Mexico where he learned to work with the temascal (sweat lodge). In 1997 he was given his spiritual name in India where he became a Sanyasin of Osho. He studied Tibetan Pulsing Yoga extensively with master Shantam Deeraj in the Osho Ashram in Pune India where he lived for six years. During his time in India Anabhra also learned Osho meditation practices and Ayurvedic massage. He trained in Thailand in the art of traditional Thai massage. Through his studies in martial arts he developed a technique he calls Martial Arts Massage. Anabhra plays flutes from Peru, India and North America. His musical interests also include harmonium, Shruti Boxes, Guitar, Ukulele and drums, and an assortment of small instruments from around the world. Anabhra feels great joy in offering healing bodywork, kirtan and sacred song, as well as trance dance sessions incorporating live musical performance.
